Democrat presidential front-runner Joe Biden is working to stay connected to voters through a new podcast. He launched the project Monday from his home in Delaware, where he’s been working since federal social distancing guidelines were introduced.

In the podcast, which is called “Here’s the Deal,” Biden explained that he intends to stay connected with supporters as the pandemic has put an end to rallies. He also said the podcast could offer helpful information.

In his first episode, however, Biden and his former Chief of Staff Ron Klain took aim at President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

“Donald Trump didn’t take the steps needed to get the testing in place,” Klain claimed. “As a result, compared to almost every other developed nation, we’re behind on getting people tested…there’s no reason this nation should be so far behind.”

Biden went on to stress the importance of putting partisan politics aside during this crisis and called for urgency in addressing Americans’ needs.
