President Trump kept the ball rolling on the campaign trail with his latest stop in Colorado Springs. The president held a ‘Keep America Great’ rally in the Centennial State on Thursday.
“I was thrilled to be back in Colorado Springs tonight beneath the majestic peaks of the Rocky Mountains with thousands of terrific, hardworking American patriots,” he said. “With your help, this November, we are going to defeat the radical socialist Dems, and we are going to win Colorado!”
The president touted several of his administration’s policies, which have resulted in record low unemployment and a booming economy. He also doubled-down on his criticism of his Democrat challengers in the race.
He specifically took aim at former New York City Mayor Mike Bloomberg, who came under fire by his fellow contenders Wednesday night during the Nevada Democrat debate.
“Mini Mike didn’t do well last night, I was going to send him a note saying: ‘It’s not easy doing what I do, is it?’” stated President Trump. “It’s not easy, Mike, not easy for any of them.”
The president has promised his base the U.S. will never turn to socialism and urged Colorado voters to get out and vote for him on Election Day. The state’s primary is slated for March 3rd.
