A box truck with pallets of flat pack cardboard boxes arrived at the White House on Wednesday, leading to speculation that the four movers seen outside the Executive Office Building unloading the material were preparing for the departure of President Donald Trump to Florida.

The development comes a week before the scheduled inauguration of Joe Biden as president.

The New York Post reported the appearance of the truck and movers, similar to when a moving truck appeared outside the White House three days after the Nov. 3 election.

Trump and his wife, first lady Melania, switched their official residence from Trump Tower in New York City’s borough of Manhattan in September 2019 to the Mar-a-Lago Club resort in Florida. The Post noted Melania Trump had toured a school in December for their 14-year-old son Baron.

It also quoted an unidentified source that the couple had been looking for property in the Palm Beach area or nearby because the living quarters at Mar-a-Lago wasn’t big enough.

The Post reported earlier Wednesday that Trump’s son, Don Jr., 43, and his girlfriend, Kimberly Guilfoyle were looking at homes in Jupiter, Florida, about 20 miles north of Palm Beach and Mar-a-Lago. That follows Trump’s daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner, who recently purchased a home in Indian Creek Island, Florida, and island in Miami, about 60 miles south of Mar-a-Lago.
