RFK indicates Trump ‘promised’ him ‘control’ over ‘public health agencies’

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has indicated that former President Donald Trump plans to give him “control” over the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Kennedy indicated that Trump “promised” him “control” over “public health agencies, which are HHS and its sub-agencies, CDC, FDA, NIH, and a few others,” plus the USDA.

He made the comments in a video clip that has been circulating online.

The New York Times reported that Kennedy noted via text that the video was a recording from an internal talk with campaign workers regarding get-out-the-vote efforts for Trump.

“I stand ready to help him rid the public health agencies of their pervasive conflicts and corruption and restore their tradition of gold-standard, evidence-based science,” Kennedy said in a statement, according to the outlet.

The HHS secretary and USDA secretary posts are both cabinet-level positions.

“No formal decisions about Cabinet and personnel have been made, however, President Trump has said he will work alongside passionate voices like RFK Jr. to Make America Healthy Again by providing families with safe food and ending the chronic disease epidemic plaguing our children,” Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement, according to reports.

Kennedy initially pursued the Democratic presidential nomination, then switched to an independent presidential bid, and eventually dropped out and backed Trump.

“When @realDonaldTrump gets me inside the USDA, we’re going to give farmers an off-ramp from the current system that destroys soil, makes people sick, and harms family farms,” Kennedy posted.

When podcast host Joe Rogan asked Trump whether he is fully committed to including Kennedy in his administration, Trump said, “I am.”

During his recent rally at Madison Square Garden, Trump said he will let Kennedy “go wild on health,” food and medicine.

“One of the first things I will do once we get @realDonaldTrump back in the White House and me to D.C. is to get ultra-processed foods out of school lunches,” Kennedy posted.

Kennedy has said that public health entities like the CDC, NIH, FDA, and USDA “have become sock puppets for the industries that they’re supposed to regulate.”

He said that he and Trump will “replace the corrupt industry-captured officials with honest public servants.”

Huge majority of Americans are ‘anxious and frustrated’ about upcoming election, poll finds

The vast majority of Americans report being “anxious and frustrated” rather than “excited” regarding the upcoming election, according to a Thursday poll from the Associated Press.

The poll found that 7 in 10 Americans reported feeling frustrated about the election, while just under a third say they are excited. The AP-NORC poll comes as the presidential race between former President Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris remains neck-and-neck.

The poll found that Democrats in particular are feeling more anxious than usual. Roughly 8 in 10 Democrats said they have negative feelings about the upcoming election, compared to just 7 in 10 in the last election.

Independents are the most even keeled, however, with roughly half of the group saying they are anxious and the other half saying they are excited.

FOX NEWS POLL: MORE HARRIS THAN TRUMP SUPPORTERS THINK VOTERS WILL BE COUNTED ACCURATELY & WILL ACCEPT OUTCOME

American voters say they are feeling frustrated by the election.

The poll of 1,233 adults was conducted Oct. 24-29, 2024, using a sample drawn from NORC’s probability-based AmeriSpeak Panel, which is designed to be representative of the U.S. population. The margin of sampling error is plus or minus 3.6 percentage points.

HARRIS, TRUMP, MAKE FINAL PITCHES TO VOTERS IN HIGH STAKES BATTLEGROUND

The presidential race remains virtually tied both nationally and in the swing states as the nation sits just five days from Election Day.

North Carolina likely voters put Trump slightly ahead of Harris in a new Fox News survey released Wednesday. That’s unchanged since September.

Trump leads Harris 49%-47% among likely voters, while third-party candidates receive 4%. In the two-way contest, his edge narrows to 1 point — a useful indicator as pre-election surveys often overstate support for third-party candidates.

Meanwhile, in Pennsylvania, both candidates are tied at 48% support with an expanded ballot, according to the Wednesday poll. With third-party candidates removed, Trump is up by 1 point (50% to 49% Harris).

“I don’t like to speak too early, but you have to get out and vote because we … we want a big, beautiful number. We’re leading in every single swing state. Because, normally Republicans, they like to vote at the end no matter what you say, they like to vote at the end,” Trump said from the Allentown rally.

Harris picks up endorsements from New Hampshire Republicans 6 days before election

Vice President Harris on Wednesday picked up endorsements from three longtime Republican leaders in New Hampshire who supported former President Trump’s rival Nikki Haley in the Republican primary.

Former U.S. Senator Gordon Humphrey, former U.S. Congressman and former New Hampshire Supreme Court Justice Chuck Douglas and former New Hampshire Attorney General Thomas Rath condemned Trump as a divisive and unstable candidate in statements declaring their support for Harris. Her campaign said the endorsements reflect growing enthusiasm for the vice president among registered Republicans both in the Granite State and the rest of the nation.

“I voted Republican for fifty years, but I’m voting against Donald Trump and I plead with all Republicans to do the same,” Humphrey said in a statement.  “As a father, a grandfather, a veteran, and a former United States Senator, I cannot vote for Trump. He’s dangerous to our democracy.”

Douglas said that Trump “believes in himself over service” and views the election “as the change to jail his political opponents.” Harris would be a “steady hand at the ship of state” in contrast to Trump’s “fragile mental state and anger,” according to the former lawmaker.

Rath likewise condemned Trump’s “campaign of division, anger, thinly veiled prejudice, and rejection of our core values as a nation.”

The Harris-Walz campaign welcomed their support and noted that hundreds of current and former Republicans across the country have backed Harris, including former GOP Reps. Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.

In New Hampshire specifically, the campaign said there has been a 47% increase in registered Republican volunteers compared to 2022 and a 76% increase in the number of GOP voters who have told canvassers they plan to vote for Democrats next week.

“While Vice President Harris has made clear there is a home in her campaign for all Americans – including Republicans and independents – Donald Trump continues to double down on his extreme agenda,” the campaign said in a news release.

Reached for comment, the Trump campaign noted that Haley is supporting his candidacy, along with former Democrats Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, D-Hawaii.

“President Trump is building a historic and diverse movement to make America great again,” Trump national press secretary Karoline Leavitt said. “He’s been endorsed by many respected leaders from Nikki Haley to RFK Jr., and Tulsi Gabbard. We welcome anyone who wants to secure our border, restore law and order, and end inflation to join our team.”

Jim Jordan says YouTube ‘censored’ Joe Rogan interview with Trump

House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan, R-Ohio, is accusing YouTube of potentially repressing former President Trump’s interview with podcast host Joe Rogan.

In a letter to Alphabet CEO Sundar Pitchai sent late Wednesday, Jordan said the tech giant’s subsidiary “appears to have censored the video of Joe Rogan’s recent interview with President Donald Trump.”

“We write to seek an immediate briefing on (1) YouTube’s decision to censor Joe Rogan’s interview with President Trump; and (2) Google Search’s elevation of material critical of the interview,” Jordan wrote.

The Ohio Republican cited a New York Post report that said people were having difficulty finding the three-hour interview on YouTube.

“Recent news coverage reports that ‘search[es] on YouTube using the terms ‘Joe Rogan Trump’ or ‘Joe Rogan Donald Trump’ did not bring up Friday’s three-hour sit-down at the top of the list,’” the letter said

The report claimed the full interview was also “absent” from YouTube’s trending videos page the following day.

Jordan also said YouTube acknowledged “censorship” of the interview, referring to a statement posted to X earlier this week that read, “For some searches on Monday the original 3-hour interview didn’t appear prominently. Short excerpts uploaded by the Joe Rogan channel appeared, but we know it was frustrating for users looking to find the full video.”

“We’ve worked to resolve this and viewers will begin seeing the full podcast in more YouTube search results soon,” the statement said.

Jordan wrote in his letter to Alphabet, “Americans deserve access to political speech, especially in the closing weeks before an election.”

“Given the company’s recent history of censorship, including at the behest of the Biden-Harris Administration, YouTube’s censorship of former President Trump is particularly troubling,” he wrote.

“Please arrange for this briefing as soon as possible, but no later than 10:00 am on November 14, 2024.”

The Republican Senate nominee in New Mexico says former President Trump’s stop in the blue-leaning southwestern state on Thursday “will infuse our state with a lot of momentum.”

Nella Domenici, the 2024 GOP Senate nominee and the daughter of New Mexico’s last Republican senator, is trying to defeat Democratic Sen. Martin Heinrich, who is running in November for a third six-year term, as her party works to win back the chamber’s majority.

“Trump is definitely going to help us with the independents,” Domenici predicted in a Fox News Digital interview on the eve of the former president’s visit to the state.

With five days until Election Day next Tuesday, the former president is making a rare detour from campaigning in the seven crucial battleground states in the White House race that will likely determine if Trump or Vice President Kamala Harris wins the 2024 election.

WHY TRUMP IS MAKING LAST MINUTE STOPS AHEAD OF ELECTION DAY IN BLUE-LEANING STATES

It’s been two decades since a Republican carried New Mexico in a presidential election. You’ve got to go back to President George W. Bush’s 2004 re-election.

There hasn’t been an abundance of polling in New Mexico, but most recent surveys indicate Harris with an upper single digit lead over Trump, although one survey suggests a tighter contest for the state’s five electoral votes.

With time such a precious commodity for presidential campaigns and the clock quickly ticking toward Election Day, New Mexico Democrats say Trump’s trip to the state – his first in five years – is a fool’s errand.

WHAT THE MOST RECENT FOX NEWS POLLS SHOW IN THE HARRIS-TRUMP SHOWDOWN

“Trump is wasting his time coming to our state as polling shows New Mexicans are set to reject his MAGA extremism and divisive rhetoric yet again,” Democratic Party of New Mexico spokesperson Daniel Garcia claimed in a statement.

And referring to the Oct. 31st stop in Albuquerque by the former president, Garcia took a verbal shot at Trump, saying “a rotund orange mass will be in Albuquerque on Halloween, and we’re not talking about a pumpkin.”

But Domenici, who’s trying to narrow the gap with Heinrich, sees down-ballot benefits to Trump’s stop at the airport in Albuquerque, the state’s largest city.

“People are really excited to have Trump come here,” she told Fox News. “It definitely excites the base hugely and the base is kind of a growing term.”

Domenici argued that “we have so many problems in our state that finally people are saying ‘I give up on the Democrats and I want to be a Republican’ and it’s happening every day, every week, of this race.

Heinrich in Senate

“A lot of Hispanic Democrats are coming over to our side. They’re mad that the cost of living is so high. They’re mad that crime is everywhere. You can’t even go get gas in your car at night,” Domenici claimed. “There’s a lot of momentum for people to want to vote Republican.”

She’s also the daughter of the late longtime Republican Sen. Pete Domenici, who served for 36 years in the Senate before retiring at the beginning of 2009 at the end of his sixth term.

The legacy of her father, who died in 2017, gives the younger Domenici a powerful political brand and plenty of name recognition in New Mexico.

“My family’s name has absolutely helped me a huge amount. It’s because my father’s legacy is so deeply appreciated here by multiple generations,” she emphasized. “A lot of people still have very warm hearts for him.”

The fatal flaw in Kamala Harris’ speech, marred by Biden’s ‘garbage’ comment

The optics were perfect. The crowd was massive. The media reviews were glowing.

But there was a fundamental contradiction at the heart of Kamala Harris’ speech on the Ellipse that virtually no one is talking about.

First, I’ll give the vice president her due. It was a well-written address and strongly delivered. It contained a fair amount of policy, such as Medicare payments for home health care and aid to first-time home buyers.

INTERVIEWING DONALD TRUMP: A LAST-MINUTE BLITZ AND NEW CLOSING MESSAGE

Harris acknowledged that many voters were just getting to know her. She mentioned her mom and her middle-class upbringing, as she always does. She said she’s not perfect and makes mistakes.

But the backbone of the speech was a two-fisted, no-holds-barred attack on Donald Trump.

Harris likened him to King George III as a “petty tyrant.” She called him “unstable” and “consumed with grievance.” She said he’s seeking “unchecked power” and is “obsessed with revenge.”

In short, after a 100-day campaign, Harris is still running as she did when she quickly seized the nomination, as the anti-Trump.

U.S. President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris

Now such rhetorical assaults can be traced to the dawn of the republic. You may not love me, but that other guy is so much worse.

That’s why she used the White House as a backdrop, standing at the spot where Trump gave his speech on Jan. 6, urging his supporters to go to the Capitol, where many proceeded to riot.

Fine. Fair game. Especially for a candidate who’s trying to win some Republican votes, aided by Liz Cheney, a number of former Trump officials and, as of yesterday, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

But then the veep tried to make the pivot, presenting herself as the candidate of unity.

RACIST TALK AT RALLY MARS TRUMP’S MESSAGE, BUT HE SCORES ON JOE ROGAN PODCAST

And therein lies the fatal flaw. You can’t beat the crap out of your opponent and, in practically the next breath, say you want to bring the country together. You can’t have it both ways. You can be an attack dog, but if you’re baring those teeth, you can’t suddenly be purring like a puppy.

Not that Harris didn’t have some good lines. Trump has an enemies list and she’ll have a to-do list. And of political opponents: “He wants to put them in jail. I’ll give them a seat at my table.”

The segue: “It is time to stop pointing fingers and start locking arms.”

But, um, she just spent a good chunk of her speech pointing fingers.

Vice President Kamala Harris

And then she kept circling back to Trump in the second half, such as when discussing abortion rights.

Harris also went beyond political exaggeration. “He tried to cut Medicare and Social Security every year he was president,” she said. That is simply not true. But she gets very little fact-checking.

Overall, the speech was a plus for her, despite its clashing ideas. But make no mistake, she’s running as the alternative to a man she paints as dangerous.

As the Free Press put it: “This campaign is and always has been all about Trump. And it will be all about Trump all the way to the finish line now.”

PLAYING THE HITLER CARD: WILL TRUMP BACKERS DISMISS JOHN KELLY’S ATTACK?

But Harris’ big moment was marred by Joe Biden – the, ah, previous nominee – to the point where it almost seems like he’s trying to undermine her.

Last week, the president said of his predecessor, “Lock him up.” Harris always says she’ll leave that to the courts.

And now, referring to the racist comic at the Madison Square Garden rally who called Puerto Rico an island of garbage, Biden said: “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”

The president stumbled for a couple of seconds and added: “His–his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American.”

Biden pointing his finger

Boom. Too late. There were instant comparisons to Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” swipe at Trump supporters in 2016.

Biden posted a clarification, saying he was referring only to comic Tony Hinchcliffe. (Trump says he doesn’t know the performer and didn’t hear the so-called joke.)

The White House put out a transcript that included an apostrophe, as in “his supporter’s,” trying to indicate that he was talking about one person. Who would have thought the campaign would turn on a lowly apostrophe?

A reporter asked Harris about the Biden blunder yesterday before she boarded Air Force Two.

“He clarified his comments, but let me be clear: I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for…I believe the work that I do is about representing people whether they support me or not.”

CLICK HERE TO GET THE FOX NEWS APP

Kamala finally broke with the boss, wisely distancing herself from the blunder. No wonder she’s resisted his suggestions that they campaign together. He’s doing enough damage on his own, with some pundits even suggesting it’s deliberate.

And that gave Trump an opening: “Now, on top of everything, Joe Biden calls our supporters ‘garbage.’ You can’t lead America if you don’t love the American people.”

It’s a distraction that Kamala Harris didn’t need in the final days of the campaign.

Majority of veterans polled support re-election of Donald Trump: ‘We want Trump back’

A recent Pew Research Poll gives former President Trump the lead with veterans nationwide over Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of Tuesday’s presidential election.

The poll, conducted with 876 veteran registered voters, gave Trump or “Leans Trump” 61% of the key demographic’s support. Just 37% of the veterans polled responded that they support Harris.

Veterans make up around 6% of the country, according to the Census Bureau, or about 16 million people per 2022 numbers. The number of veterans nationwide is steadily dwindling, with around 18% of the American population being veterans in 1980.

BRIAN MAST: I’M A WOUNDED WARRIOR. I’VE SEEN DONALD TRUMP CARE FOR VETERANS. THAT’S WHY I’M VOTING FOR HIM

Veterans 4 America First Institute, a nonprofit, reacted to the recent poll showing overwhelming support for Trump ahead of the 2024 presidential election in an interview with Fox News Digital.

“The reason veterans are sticking with Trump, despite all the fake news, all the lies about Trump, is because veterans care about two things: results, and their pension,” Darin Selnick, an Air Force veteran and founder of Veterans 4 America First Institute, told Fox News Digital.

“And so with the VA, you know, veterans all over the country saying, ‘We want Trump back’ because the VA has gone downhill. We’re not getting our choice of staff or not being accountable,” said Selnick.

The Mission Act and the Accountability Acts passed under former President Trump allowed for veterans to seek private providers outside the VA as well as hold poorly performing VA staff accountable.

The Veterans 4 America First Institute’s mission statement is “to preserve and expand our nation’s commitment to our veterans, military, and their families through public education and advocacy.”

VA BACK PAID HUNDREDS OF FIRED EMPLOYEES, REPORT CLAIMS, AS AGENCY SAYS IT’LL ‘ENSURE’ BAD ACTORS CAN’T RETURN

According to Pew, 60% of veterans cast their ballots in 2020 for Trump, and 39% voted for Joe Biden. This most recent poll more accurately reflects 2016 veteran numbers, when 61% voted for Trump and only 35% voted for former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

According to Selnick, a former Captain in the Air Force, veterans have not relied on news or polls to come to their decision about supporting Trump.

“They saw the difference, and [veterans are] going to stick with Trump. They also saw in terms of the bigger picture of the country. They saw what happened in Afghanistan. They saw what Trump did, how he got rid of ISIS. They saw what he did on foreign policy, saw what he was doing, how it worked… They’ve seen with their own eyes,” said Selnick.

In the ill-fated Afghanistan withdrawal in 2021 under President Biden, 13 American service members died from a bombing at Abbey Gate on Aug. 26. During the dignified transfer of many of these service members, mostly Marines, President Biden was seen checking his watch.

Many of the Gold Star families affected by this tragic bombing support Trump in his re-election bid, including Darin Hoover and Kelly Barnett, who invited him to lay a wreath at their son Sgt. Taylor Hoover’s grave site at Arlington National Cemetery a few months ago.

Selnick encourages more veterans to show up to the polls next week and participate in the 2024 presidential election, saying, “Although veterans are not a large percentage of the population, they have family members; people who support veterans are a big percentage of the population. When you take those into account, you know their vote is going to be influenced by what their veteran family members and friends and those who just support veterans, the military in general think as well.”

However, Selnick also encourages Americans not to lose interest in veterans’ opinions after the election, with Veterans Day just around the corner.

“With Veterans Day coming up, we recognize the debt we owe veterans every year on Nov. 11. And so it’s important to understand what those who defend us think and what they believe and what their opinions are, but also their family members, their friends and those who support veterans as well,” he said.

Buzz Aldrin endorses Trump, Arnold Schwarzenegger backs Harris

Bodybuilder and actor Arnold Schwarzenegger endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president on Wednesday, while legendary Apollo 11 astronaut Edwin Eugene “Buzz” Aldrin Jr., gave his backing to former President Trump.

The two endorsements come with just days left until Election Day, with both campaigns stumping heavily in battleground states to shore up votes.

Schwarzenegger, 77, who served as the Republican governor of California from 2003 to 2011, said he was putting country before politics by handing out his second-ever presidential endorsement. In 2016, he endorsed former Ohio Gov. John Kasich in that year’s Republican presidential primaries.

“Let me be honest with you: I don’t like either party right now. My Republicans have forgotten the beauty of the free market, driven up deficits, and rejected election results. Democrats aren’t any better at dealing with deficits, and I worry about their local policies hurting our cities with increased crime,” Schwarzenegger wrote in a lengthy post on X.

Schwarzenegger went on to rail about politicians failing to pass “comprehensive immigration reform” and then turned his ire towards former President Trump, calling for the country to “turn the page” on the 45th president, who he says “won’t respect your vote unless it is for him” and “will send his followers to storm the Capitol while he watches with a Diet Coke.”

“Rejecting the results of an election is as un-American as it gets,” he wrote.

“A candidate who has shown no ability to work to pass any policy besides a tax cut that helped his donors and other rich people like me but helped no one else…, a candidate who thinks Americans who disagree with him are the bigger enemies than China, Russia, or North Korea – that won’t solve our problems,” wrote Schwarzenegger, known for his role in several “Terminator” franchise movies.

“It will just be four more years of bulls— with no results that makes us angrier and angrier, more divided, and more hateful,” he wrote before throwing his support behind the Harris-Walz ticket, without outlining any of their campaign policies he supports.

Aldrin, 94, the second person to walk on the moon after mission commander Neil Armstrong, according to NASA, threw his weight behind Trump, touting the former president’s efforts to elevate space exploration as a “policy of high importance again” and that his administration “reignited national efforts to get back to the Moon and push on to Mars.”

“The Trump Administration also reinstituted the National Space Council, and our Nation’s defense was enhanced with the creation of the U.S. Space Force – increasingly important as space becomes a contested domain,” Aldrin wrote on X.

“At the same time, I have been enthused and excited by the great advancements in the private sector space economy, led by visionaries like Elon Musk. These are concrete accomplishments that align with my concerns and America’s policy priorities.”

Aldrin said that former President Trump is the candidate who has the right attributes to lead America, which is facing “serious and difficult challenges both at home and abroad.”

“The Presidency requires clarity in judgement, decisiveness, and calm under pressure that few have a natural ability to manage, or the life experience to successfully undertake. It is a job where decisions are made that routinely involve American lives – some urgently but not without thought,” Aldrin wrote.

“For me, for the future of our country, to meet enormous challenges, and for the proven policy accomplishments above, I believe we are best served by voting for former President Trump. I wholeheartedly endorse him for President of the United States. Godspeed President Trump, and God Bless the United States of America.”

Aldrin’s endorsement was welcomed by the former president, who commented on the show of support at a rally in North Carolina on Wednesday.

“Buzz Aldrin, very respected, the great astronaut and highly respected. But I thought it was an unusual,” Trump said before straying to note that outlets like The Washington Post and the Los Angeles Times have refused to make endorsements, which he said is a rejection of Harris.

But Buzz Aldrin is very interesting because a great astronaut… He’s a very sound man and great, looks fantastic.

“What he said is ‘I’ve never endorsed anybody in my life before… This is the first time I’ve ever made an endorsement… I’m endorsing Donald J. Trump.’ Isn’t that nice? So thank you, Buzz Aldrin. And I like him, too. I’ve always admired him.”

President Biden was photographed playfully biting at least two babies dressed in Halloween costumes at the White House trick-or-treat event on Wednesday evening.

Both children were carried by their mothers to visit the 81-year-old commander-in-chief, who didn’t seem to mind the interaction.

One baby who was dressed as a chicken even giggled after Biden took a faux nibble of his or her leg. The president then engaged in some easy banter with the baby’s mother.

Harris pledges to sign bill ‘to restore reproductive freedom’ as president in Wisconsin speech

Vice President Kamala Harris suggested she would sign federal abortion protections into law during a speech in Wisconsin on Thursday evening.

“One does not have to abandon their faith or deeply held beliefs to agree, the government shouldn’t be telling her what to do with her body,” Harris said, referring to women.

“When Congress passes a bill to restore reproductive freedom nationwide, as President of the United States, I will proudly sign it into law.”

Harris has made abortion rights a cornerstone of her 2024 campaign, and has spoken on the issue frequently in her capacity as President Biden’s vice president.

Democrats are hoping that continued fallout from the Supreme Court overturning Roe v. Wade in 2022 will be a potent political cudgel in November. In the previous midterm races, it was partially credited with aiding them in keeping the Senate and blunting Republicans’ margin of victory in the House.

Harris said on Wednesday evening that Trump “would ban abortion nationwide” and likewise institute a ban on contraceptives – both stances the ex-president has explicitly denied.

While Democratic lawmakers have rallied around federal abortion legislation to codify it into law, Republicans have insisted it’s an issue best left up to the states.

Moderate GOP lawmakers facing tough re-election battles have emphasized that they would not support any federal abortion bans.

Abortion-related issues are on the ballot in several states in the November elections, including the battleground states of Nevada and Arizona. Democrats hope it will be a motivator for people who are normally apathetic to elections to turn out and vote blue.

“Ours is a fight for the future, and it is a fight for freedom. Freedom, like the fundamental freedom of a woman to make decisions about her own body and not have her government tell her what to do,” Harris said Wednesday.

The Republican National Committee (RNC) slammed Harris before her appearance in battleground Wisconsin, with Chairman Michael Whatley saying in a statement, “Harris’ vision for Wisconsin is an even more dangerously liberal version of the past four years. Kamala Harris broke Wisconsin’s economy, but President Trump will fix it.”

Donald Trump wears garbage worker vest to rally in critical swing state

Just six days until Nov. 5 and the day after President Joe Biden called Trump supporters “garbage,” Former President Donald Trump addressed several thousand supporters in Green Bay, Wisconsin, while wearing a garbage worker high visibility vest.

Trump explained that his decision to arrive at the rally in a dump truck, dressed in a garbage vest, was made spur of the moment. He joked that the vest made him look thinner and quipped that the vest could become part of his everyday attire.

“When they said I’d look thinner, I said in that case, I’ll wear it onstage,” he joked. “I may never wear a blue jacket again.”

He criticized Biden, Democrats, and most especially his opponent Vice-president Kamala Harris for “running a campaign of hate, vitriol and retribution.”

“This week Kamala has been comparing her political opponents to the most evil mass murderers in history and now speaking on a call for her campaign last night crooked Joe Biden finally said what he and Kamala really think of our supporters, he called them ‘garbage,” he said.

Referencing Hillary Clinton’s 2016 comments calling his supporters “deplorables,” he said that Biden’s remark “blows deplorables out of the water.”

“My response to Joe and Kamala is very simple: You can’t lead America if you don’t love Americans, it’s true. You can’t be president if you hate the American people, which I believe they do, and Kamala Harris is not fit to be president of the United States,” he said.

Trump went on to emphasize himself as a unity candidate, uniting people of every race, creed and economic status.

“Kamala and Joe call all of us, and them, even them, ‘garbage.’ I call you the heart and soul of America. You are the heart and soul, you built our country, you built it,” he said. “And by the way I want to thank all our sanitation workers all across America because they work hard, they really do work hard and they do an incredible job, and they don’t get the credit they deserve.”

Trump also made fun of Harris for mentioning him 24 times in her closing argument speech on Tuesday in Washington, D.C. He accused the Harris campaign of paying and bussing in supporters for the speech.

He also thanked former astronaut Buzz Aldrin for his recent endorsement, saying: “What we have built is the biggest, broadest, most incredible coalition and the greatest political movement in the history of our country.”

He urged Wisconsinites to vote, saying: “If we win Wisconsin we’re going to win the whole thing.”

“Nov. 5, 2024, will be liberation day in America,” he said.

Chinese citizen allegedly voted illegally in key battleground state

A Chinese citizen, who attends the University of Michigan, was charged for allegedly voting illegally in the key battleground state of Michigan – and that student’s vote will still be counted.

A spokesperson for the Michigan Secretary of State confirmed to Fox News Digital that the Chinese citizen voted at a polling place at the University of Michigan Museum of Art on Sunday, Oct. 27.

The state’s top authorities condemned the 19-year-old’s actions, saying that since the man is not a U.S. citizen, he cannot vote in federal elections.

“Only U.S. citizens can register and vote in our elections. It is illegal to lie on any registration forms or voting applications about one’s citizenship status. Doing so is a felony,” Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and Washtenaw County Prosecutor Eli Savit wrote in a joint statement.

MILLIONS OF VOTERS HAVE ALREADY CAST BALLOTS FOR NOV. 5 ELECTION

Voters

Despite the fact that the Chinese citizen’s ballot was cast illegally, it is expected to be counted in the upcoming election.

Andrew McCarthy, a Fox News contributor and a former Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of New York, told Fox News Digital that it is expected to count because there is no way for election officials to retrieve it once it’s been put through a tabulator.

“The thing is, because of the imperative of voter secrecy, the ballot does not have an identifying PIN number or other kind of identifying information that would enable somebody afterward to figure out who voted for whom,” he said. “That’s our dedication to the secret ballot.”

“But what it means is if the person passes the identification and qualification aspect of the early voting and gets to fill out the ballot, the ballot then goes into a tabulator, and it gets counted because there’s no way to go back and retrieve it and say, ‘this is the ballot that shouldn’t have been voted.’ And that’s the problem here.”

Andrew McCarthy

McCarthy said that the hope is that there is “enough election security that this will happen few enough times that it won’t affect the integrity of the results.”

“But the other important thing, and I don’t think there’s enough of this, is it’s a violation of both state law and federal law for an alien to attest that he is an American citizen for purposes of being allowed to register to vote,” he said. “And then federally, at least, it’s a crime for a non-American to vote, at least if it’s done knowingly.”

WHAT ARE ELECTION BETTING ODDS? EXPERT EXPLAINS WHY TRUMP IS CURRENT FAVORITE

“You’ve got to bring these cases because people have to be aware that there’s a price to be paid if you vote illegally,” he said. “And if you don’t bring those cases, then you’re not really being serious about election integrity.”

Applications to vote

The Chinese citizen, whose identity was not released, was charged with perjury after making a false statement for the purpose of securing a voter registration and with being an unauthorized elector who attempted to vote.

DOJ DEPLOYS DISTRICT ELECTIONS OFFICERS TO HANDLE ‘THREATS AND INTIMIDATION’

According to Michigan law, the unauthorized elector charge is a felony that is punishable by up to four years with a fine of up to $2,000.

Democrat Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel said in a statement that her office has launched an “independent, parallel investigation” into the situation.

McCarthy highlighted why he believes voting in-person on Election Day is best – and the most secure option.

“I think the safest way to vote and, frankly, the best way to vote, is on Election Day because it means that we’re all voting with the same information,” he said. “When you have people voting six weeks before the election, we’re not even voting with the same information because a lot of important things happen in the run-up to the election.”

“But more importantly, for the purposes that we’re talking about, there was always a presumption in the law that said, for security purposes, we prefer that you come into the precinct on Election Day and vote. That’s how we can secure it the best,” he said. “What I think is terrible is we’ve not only gotten away from the idea that everybody should vote at the polls, but we’re now taking the next step. If you vote remotely, and you make an error, that, you know, progressive Democrats decide it’s trivial, even though it involves a procedure that’s in place precisely to protect the integrity of elections, we should forgive that, or it should be the government’s fault that you made the mistake.”

“And I think that the position people ought to be taking, because this was always the position that was in our law, is come in and vote on Election Day. But if you don’t want to vote on Election Day and you want to take advantage of these other means of voting, fine. But every jot and tittle of the rules is for you to comply with.”

Trump seen in garbage truck in Wisconsin

Former President Trump rolled up to the battleground state of Wisconsin in a garbage truck on Wednesday, an apparent reference to President Biden’s remarks about supporters of the Republican nominee, which has caused a firestorm for Vice President Kamala Harris in the final days of a hotly contested election.

Trump was pictured in Green Bay inside a white garbage truck wearing an orange reflective vest with “Trump Make America Great Again 2024” emblazoned on the vehicle.

“How do you like my garbage truck?” Trump asked reporters. “This truck is in honor of Kamala and Joe Biden.”

The stunt is an apparent dig at Biden, who has come under fire for calling Trump supporters garbage.

During a virtual Harris campaign call with Voto Latino, Biden took a swipe at former Trump’s weekend rally in Madison Square Garden, which made headlines after insult comedian Tony Hinchiffe made jokes mocking different ethnic groups, with one joke referring to Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage.”

“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden said. “His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable and it is un-American.”

The comment quickly went viral and sparked swift condemnation from critics.

Biden’s remarks were quickly compared to Hillary Clinton, who declared that Trump supporters were “deplorables” during the 2016 presidential race.

Trump himself reacted to the “terrible” comment from Biden while speaking at a rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

“Remember Hillary? She said ‘deplorable’ and then said ‘irredeemable,’ right? But she said ‘deplorable.’ That didn’t work out. ‘Garbage’ I think is worse,” Trump said to his supporters at a rally in Allentown, Pennsylvania on Tuesday night. “But he doesn’t know- you have to please forgive him. Please forgive him. For he not knoweth what he said.”

“And I’m convinced he likes me more than he likes Kamala,” Trump quipped.

On Wednesday, White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said Biden doesn’t view Trump supporters as “garbage.”

“He has said multiple times that he is a president for all. It doesn’t matter if in a red state. It doesn’t matter if you live in a blue state,” she said.

As White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre attempted to spin President Biden’s remark calling Trump supporters “garbage,” saying the “president for all” would never speak badly about people that support Trump, Biden’s former comments about MAGA Republicans are coming back to haunt him.

During a press briefing on Wednesday, Jean-Pierre insisted that Biden was not calling Trump supporters garbage, but instead was calling comedian Tony Hinchcliffe’s joke about Puerto Rico “garbage.”

“He does not view Trump supporters or anybody who supports Trump as garbage. That is not what he views,” the press secretary said of Biden.

“He has said multiple times that he is a president for all. It doesn’t matter if you live in a red state, it doesn’t matter if you live in a blue state. He has said it himself. I have said it on his behalf. He believes that he’s a president for all. And it doesn’t matter who you voted for, doesn’t matter if you voted for him or not. He’s a president for all. But hateful rhetoric, hateful rhetoric that he hears. And this is something that we’ve done many times from here. We will call that out. We will call that out.”

WHITE HOUSE SEEKS TO PLAY CLEAN UP AFTER BIDEN CALLS TRUMP SUPPORTERS ‘GARBAGE’

During a virtual call with Voto Latino, Biden was asked about Trump’s rally in Madison Square Garden, which made headlines after Hinchcliffe told a joke, referring to Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage.”

He responded by saying, “Donald Trump has no character. He doesn’t give a damn about the Latino community. He’s a failed businessman. He only cares about the billionaire friends that he has and accumulating wealth for those at the top. He says immigrants are poisoning the blood of our country – give me a break. He wants to do away with the birthright citizenship. Who the hell has said that in the last hundred years? And just the other day, a speaker at his rally called Puerto Rico a ‘floating island of garbage.’ Well, let me tell you something. I don’t — I — I don’t know the Puerto Rican that — that I know — or a Puerto Rico, where I’m fr- — in my home state of Delaware, they’re good, decent, honorable people. The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters — his — his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American.  It’s totally contrary to everything we’ve done, everything we’ve been.”

Now the White House is insisting that Biden would not speak badly about people that support Trump, but his past comments about MAGA Republicans seem to say otherwise.

Sept. 5, 2022 – Laborfest, Milwaukee, Wisconsin

On Sept. 5, 2022, Biden gave a Labor Day speech to workers in Milwaukee, where he went after MAGA Republicans and Trump supporters.

WHITE HOUSE DENIES THAT BIDEN REFERRED TO TRUMP SUPPORTERS AS ‘GARBAGE’

“Look, extreme MAGA Republicans don’t just threaten our personal rights and our economic security, they embrace political violence,” Biden said before attempting to clear up that he was only talking about MAGA Republicans and not all Republicans. “The definition of democracy is you accept the will of the people when votes are honestly counted. These guys don’t do it.”

He continued, referring to the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the U.S. Capitol building in Washington, D.C., and saying MAGA Republicans in Congress continue to defend the “mob” that stormed the building that day.

“This was an attack on American democracy,” he said. “We have to be stronger and more determined and more committed to saving American democracy than the MAGA Republicans and that guy… who are destroying democracy, because democracy is at stake.”

Sept. 9, 2022 – Democratic National Committee, Forest Heights, Maryland

While speaking at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in Forest Heights, Maryland, on Sept. 9, 2022, Biden sharpened his attacks against Trump and MAGA Republicans for posing a threat to democracy.

TRUMP CALLS FOR SUPPORTS TO ‘FORGIVE’ BIDEN IN SHOW OF UNITY AFTER PRESIDENT CALLS SUPPORTERS ‘GARBAGE’

“Extreme MAGA Republicans just don’t threaten our personal and economic rights; they embrace political violence,” the president said. “Think about it. They refuse to accept the will of the people. They threaten our very democracy. They – and that’s not hyperbole – to this day, they defend the mob that stormed the Capitol on Jan. 6.”

Oct. 23, 2022 – Interview with MSNBC

During an interview on Oct. 23, 2022, with MSNBC’s Jonathan Capehart, Biden called out “mega MAGA” Republicans who “think it’s alright to threaten violence.”

“I think we’re at one of those inflection points in history, where we’ve reached a point where there has been such a division that you have what I call the mega MAGA republicans, who think that it’s all right to threaten violence… think that’s not inappropriate, talk about how they are concerned about security but yet you saw what happened on Jan. 6, the whole world saw it.”

BIDEN CALLS TRUMP SUPPORTERS ‘GARBAGE’ DURING HARRIS CAMPAIGN EVENT AS VP PROMISES UNITY AT ELLIPSE RALLY

He said the country had a leader who concluded the truth didn’t matter, then used the old modern version of “the old racist kind of baiting,” seen 40 to 50 years ago, that Biden said, did not take it seriously.

Sept. 28, 2023 – Campaign Reception in Tempe, Arizona

Biden attended a campaign reception in Tempe, Arizona on Sept. 28, 2023, where again, he singled out MAGA supporters and accused them of posing a threat to democracy.

“Their extreme agenda, if carried out, would fundamentally alter the institutions of American democracy as we know it,” Biden said of MAGA republicans. “My friends, they’re not hiding their attacks; they’re openly promoting them. Attacking the free press as the enemy of the people. Attacking the rule of law as an impediment. Fomenting voter suppression and election subversion.

“This MAGA threat is a threat to the brick and mortar of our democratic institutions,” he later told attendees. “It’s also a threat to the character of our nation that gives our Constitution life, that binds us together as Americans, a common cause. None of this is surprising, though. They’ve tried to govern that way before. Thank God they failed. But they haven’t given up.”

When asked about the contradictions between Jean-Pierre’s statements on Wednesday and remarks made by Biden in the past against MAGA Republicans, the White House referred Fox News Digital to a speech given by the president on Sept. 1, 2022.

“Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic,” Biden said at the time.

“Now, I want to be very clear…very clear up front: Not every Republican, not even the majority of Republicans, are MAGA Republicans. Not every Republican embraces their extreme ideology.I know because I’ve been able to work with these mainstream Republicans,” the president continued. “But there is no question that the Republican Party today is dominated, driven, and intimidated by Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans, and that is a threat to this country.”

Trump super PAC launches $50m battleground state ad blitz to make ‘final pitch’ to voters

One of Trump’s largest super PACs on Wednesday launched a $50 million ad campaign across major cable networks and streaming service providers in all seven battleground states, making a “final pitch” to key voters in the final sprint to Election Day.

The ads, slated to air beginning Wednesday night, were funded by Make America Great Again, Inc., (or MAGA, Inc.) and previewed exclusively to Fox News before their release.

Each seeks to hit Kamala Harris by going after what the campaign views as her biggest weaknesses in the final stretch before the election.

One ad, titled “Are You Okay?” features a clip from Harris’s remarks during the presidential debate against Donald Trump this summer, when she spoke about her desire to put country over party.

“As a prosecutor, I never asked ‘are you a Republican or a Democrat,” she then said. “The only thing I ever asked is ’are you okay?'”

SUPREME COURT TEMPORARILY HALTS LOWER COURT RULING ORDERING 1,600 VOTERS BACK ON VIRGINIA VOTER ROLLS

Trump and Harris split image

Trump and Harris are seen in a side-by-side photo.

The clip shows voters watching the footage of Harris, and responding bluntly with their biggest complaints about the job market, inflation, and immigration—areas the campaign views as Harris’s biggest weaknesses heading into Election Day.

“I’m working three jobs to get by,” one person says in the ad. “Crime is out of control,” says another.

The other ad, called “Broken Oath,” appears to blame Harris directly for a litany of national security and foreign policy crises that unfolded over the last four years under the Biden administration, before urging voters to support Trump.

“Our troops, murdered. An open border. Crime in our streets. Skyrocketing costs. Assassination attempts,” a narrator says, adding: “We’re on the brink of World War III.”

The Trump campaign has repeatedly sought to blame Harris for what it sees as the biggest failures of the Biden administration. Trump has frequently used this to hit his opponent on the campaign trail, telling voters at recent rallies, “Kamala broke it. I will fix it.”

It is unclear how many of these policies– either at home or abroad– Harris could have exerted influence on in her role as vice president.

Since April, MAGA, Inc has spent roughly $325 million in support of Trump’s reelection campaign.

The super PAC has focused its resources primarily on boosting Trump’s standing in swing states—especially among voters in Arizona, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Nevada— four states where Trump narrowly lost to Biden in 2020.

Earlier this month, it announced $10 million in additional spending on ads aimed at winning over Black and Hispanic voters in these competitive districts—targeting voters living in the city centers of Detroit, Philadelphia, and Atlanta.

A spokesperson for the PAC told Fox News in a statement that the ads seek to drive home the message to voters that Trump will fix policy failings from the last four years.

House Republicans accuse White House of releasing ‘false transcript’ of Biden’s ‘garbage’ remarks

EXCLUSIVE: House Republican Conference Chair Elise Stefanik and House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer accuse the White House of releasing a false transcript of President Biden’s remarks in which he apparently referred to supporters of former President Trump as “garbage,” warning that the revision could violate the Presidential Records Act.

Fox News Digital obtained a letter Stefanik, R-N.Y., and Comer, R-Ky., sent to White House counsel Edward Siskel Wednesday afternoon in which they demand records relating to the remarks and the transcript are preserved.

Trump Biden

“In less than one week, the American people will determine the winner of the 2024 presidential election. They will choose between two candidates: President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris. President Biden — marred by unpopular policies, scandal, and apparent cognitive deterioration — has chosen not to pursue a second term in office,” they wrote.

President Biden, however, has continued to play a prominent role in Vice President Harris’s campaign and, indeed, is the most powerful mouthpiece for the Biden-Harris Administration’s policies and views that Ms. Harris presumably seeks to continue under a hypothetical Harris-Walz Administration.”

BIDEN CALLS TRUMP SUPPORTERS ‘GARBAGE’ DURING HARRIS CAMPAIGN EVENT AS VP PROMISES UNITY AT ELLIPSE RALLY

Stefanik and Comer pointed to Biden’s remarks Tuesday night, saying, “Americans were rightfully insulted, then, when President Biden, seeking to boost Ms. Harris’ presidential campaign, referred to an enormous swath of the country as “floating … garbage.”

“President Biden’s vindictive words were unsurprising, given his previous statements regarding people who choose not to vote for his preferred candidate,” they wrote. “Unsurprising too were the White House’s actions after he said them.”

Stefanik and Comer said the White House, “instead of apologizing or clarifying President Biden’s words,” sought to “change them (despite them being recorded on video) by releasing a false transcript of his remarks.”

James Comer

“The move is not only craven, but it also appears to be in violation of federal law, including the Presidential Records Act of 1978,” they wrote. “White House staff cannot rewrite the words of the President of the United States to be more politically on message.”

The letter comes after President Biden spoke during a Zoom call with Voto Latino, one of the largest Latino voter and civic outreach organizations in the U.S. Tuesday. Biden was asked about a comment made Sunday during a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden in which comedian Tony Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.”

Biden replied, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”

The White House has since denied that Biden called Trump supporters “garbage” and claimed the comment was taken out of context.

Faith and Freedom Coalition

The White House, on Wednesday, released a transcript of Biden’s remarks.

The official White House transcript says, “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporter’s — his — his demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it’s un-American.”

White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates sought to clarify Biden’s remarks, saying, “The president referred to the hateful rhetoric at the Madison Square Garden rally as ‘garbage.’”

TRUMP CALLS FOR SUPPORTERS TO ‘FORGIVE’ BIDEN IN SHOW OF UNITY AFTER PRESIDENT CALLS SUPPORTERS ‘GARBAGE’

And the president tweeted in the same vein.

“Earlier today I referred to the hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico spewed by Trump’s supporter at his Madison Square Garden rally as garbage—which is the only word I can think of to describe it,” Biden posted to X. “His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. That’s all I meant to say. The comments at that rally don’t reflect who we are as a nation.”

Now, Vice President Kamala Harris is seeking to distance herself from the remarks, but she’s also defending the president, saying he “clarified his comments.”

“But let me be clear, I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for,” Harris said.

Harris, referring to her Tuesday night speech from the Ellipse near the White House, reiterated Wednesday how voters will decide “who we are as a nation and whether we are going to be a nation of people who attempt to unify and break through this era of divisiveness, or are we going to be a nation of people who have a president stewing in the Oval Office over his enemies list.

‘TREATED YOU LIKE GARBAGE’: TRUMP USES BIDEN CRITICISM AS RALLYING CRY IN BATTLEGROUND NORTH CAROLINA

“You heard my speech last night and continuously throughout my career,” Harris said. “I believe that the work that I do is about representing all the people, whether they support me or not, and as President of the United States, I will be a president for all Americans whether you vote for me or not.”

The White House did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment.

In their letter to White House counsel, Stefanik and Comer wrote, “Though President Biden’s relevance continues to diminish, his words continue to matter, even as they become increasingly divisive and erratic.”

Stefanik and Comer demanded the White House “retain and preserve all documents and internal communications regarding President Biden’s statement and the release of the inaccurate transcript.”

Trump, at a rally in North Carolina Wednesday, said Biden and Harris have “treated our whole country like garbage.”

“My response to Joe and Kamala is very simple: You can’t lead America if you don’t love Americans,” Trump declared. “And you can’t be president if you hate the American people, and there’s a lot of hatred there.”

Trump camp takes victory lap following election case legal win in Pennsylvania

The Trump campaign notched a legal victory on Wednesday, when a Pennsylvania court issued an injunction extending mail-in ballot applications by one day following a lawsuit from the Trump campaign.

“PENNSYLVANIA LAWSUIT VICTORY We just won the Trump Campaign/RNC lawsuit against Bucks County, PA. We will now have extended early in-person mail-voting through November 1st — three extra days. We will keep fighting. Go vote! Stay in line!” Republican National Committee chair Michael Whatley posted to X on Wednesday.

Fox News Digital obtained a copy of the injunction, which detailed that the Bucks County Board of Elections violated the Pennsylvania Elections Code when officials turned voters away on Oct. 29 after 5 p.m. as they attempted to apply and obtain mail-in ballots before the deadline.

The Bucks County Court of Common Please ruled that voters who wish to apply and obtain a mail-in ballot are able to do so before the close of business on Nov. 1. Bucks County is a key area of the battleground state, nestled outside of Philadelphia in the suburbs.

“We have heard that we won this lawsuit, and Bucks County has extended pre-Election Day voting through November 1. This is a landmark victory that will allow our voters to cast those votes pursuant to Pennsylvania law. The RNC will leave no stone unturned in ensuring a fair, accurate and secure and transparent election, not just for Republican voters, but for all voters,” Whatley added during a press call on Wednesday.

TRUMP, HARRIS MAKE FINAL PITCHES TO VOTERS IN HIGH-STAKES BATTLEGROUND STATE IN FINAL DAYS OF CYCLE

Trump sued the Bucks County Board of Elections on Tuesday, claiming officials turned away voters who were waiting in line to apply in-person for a mail ballot. When the 5 p.m. deadline hit, the voters still in line were denied the opportunity to apply and ordered to leave, according to the suit.

“This is a direct violation of Pennsylvanians’ rights to cast their ballot – and all voters have a right to STAY in line,” the Trump campaign said in a statement.

The Republican National Committee and Republican Senate candidate Dave McCormick’s campaign had joined the lawsuit against Bucks County’s BOE.

Trump campaign spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt also celebrated the legal history during a call with the press on Wednesday.

“Just two days ago, a Trump supporter was arrested in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, for encouraging voters to stay in line, and we have seen multiple other instances of voters being turned away early in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. That’s why last night, the Trump campaign and the RNC, we filed a lawsuit against Bucks County to provide more early voting opportunities, and we just won that lawsuit just about 30 minutes ago,” Leavitt said.

Videos shared with Fox News Digital as well as several posted on X appeared to show Bucks County Emergency Services Police instructing voters that the line outside centers in Quakertown and Doylestown would be curtailed prior to the close-of-business.

Ballot applications were to be accepted until the 5PM ET deadline, but new arrivals were reportedly turned away as of 2:45 PM ET according to CBS News and other accounts.

After Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro posted on X Tuesday afternoon that the deadline for requesting vote-by-mail ballots was 5PM, commenters replied by sharing several of the videos and asking “what is this?”

“What are you doing about this, Governor Shapiro?” asked Trump campaign official James Blair via X. “This is Bucks County Emergency Services shutting down the line in Doylestown right now at ~2:30 PM. This is suppressive and intimidating.”

“If you are in line at a county elections office by 5 P.M., counties must give you an opportunity to apply for your mail ballot,” Shapiro wrote in a separate post.

Leavitt continued in her comments Wednesday that the campaign has “engaged in more than 130 election integrity lawsuits across the country this cycle” in the effort “to make it easier to vote and harder to cheat.”

“And we are going to continue to fight for that until the last ballot is counted. Today’s big victory really represents a defeat for the Democrats’ voter suppression efforts. They are seeing the early voting numbers from Republicans in key states across the country, and we are very much again, focused on securing the vote for all Americans,” she continued.

Whatley added that ordering voters away from applying for mail-in ballots was “extraordinarily problematic.”

“When you tell people that they need to leave, that they should not vote, while it is legal for them to vote, that is extraordinarily problematic. And I don’t know, and I don’t care whether that was disproportionately affecting Republicans or Democrats. The fact is, you had voters who were in line in a position to legally cast their votes, who were told by officials not to do so. And it is, it is good to see that the court has agreed with us that that is problematic and ordered Bucks County to have additional days of early vote as a remedy for it,” he said on the press call.

‘Treated you like garbage’: Trump uses Biden criticism as rallying cry in battleground North Carolina

Former President Trump said the Biden-Harris administration has treated the American people and “our whole country like garbage,” claiming that it’s now clear what President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris “really think of our supporters.”

Trump held a rally Wednesday afternoon in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, just a day after Harris made her final pitch to voters in a speech from Washington, D.C.

The vice president’s address was quickly overshadowed by Biden’s remarks during a Zoom call with Voto Latino on Tuesday.

BIDEN CALLS TRUMP SUPPORTERS ‘GARBAGE’ DURING HARRIS CAMPAIGN EVENT AS VP PROMISES UNITY AT ELLIPSE RALLY

During the call with the group, which is one of the largest Latino voter and civic outreach organizations in the U.S., Biden was asked about a comment made Sunday during a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden in which comedian Tony Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.”

Biden replied: “The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters.”

The White House has since denied that Biden called Trump supporters “garbage” and claimed the comment was taken out of context.

During the rally Wednesday, Trump said Harris has been “comparing her political opponents to the most evil mass murderers in history, and now, speaking on a call for her campaign last night, Joe Biden finally said what he and Kamala really think of our supporters.”

“He called them garbage – and they mean it, even though, without question, my supporters are far higher quality than crooked Joe and Lyin’ Kamala,” Trump told supporters.

But Trump said he had a response for the president and vice president.

“My response to Joe and Kamala is very simple: You can’t lead America if you don’t love Americans,” Trump declared. “And you can’t be president if you hate the American people, and there’s a lot of hatred there.”

TRUMP CALLS FOR SUPPORTERS TO ‘FORGIVE’ BIDEN IN SHOW OF UNITY AFTER PRESIDENT CALLS SUPPORTERS ‘GARBAGE’

Trump said Harris is “not fit to be president of the United States.”

“She doesn’t have the intellect, the stamina, or that special quality that real leaders must have to lead. We know what that is. It’s a special power,” he said. “Joe Biden, his comments were the direct result of Kamala and Tim Walz.”

Trump decried Biden’s “decision to portray everyone who isn’t voting for them as evil or subhuman.”

“They’re not subhuman. I look at it, you are not subhuman, and we know it’s what they believe, because look how they’ve treated you,” Trump said. “They’ve treated you like garbage… You know what the truth is? They have treated our whole country like garbage, whether they meant to or not, because they’re grossly incompetent people, and they’ve destroyed our country.”

Trump also blasted Harris and the Democrats for their insults of Republicans “for the past nine years.”

“Kamala and her party have called us racists, bigots, fascists, deplorables, irredeemable Nazis, and they’ve called me Hitler,” Trump said. “You know, many years ago, I had a father, a great guy, was a strong guy, a legitimate guy, strong. But, you know, he always used to tell me, ‘Never use the word Nazi. Never use the word Hitler.’ Now we’re called Nazis, and I’m called Hitler. I’m not Hitler.”

Trump reflected on his father, saying, “He’s looking down. Well, my mother, I know she’s looking down. My father’s a little questionable because he was a little rough. I think he’s looking down… He’d say, ‘Can you imagine? That’s what they’re calling my son? I told him for years, literally never use the term ‘Nazis,’ ‘Hitler.’ Now they’re using it on us.’ It’s unbelievable.”

Trump added: “They’ve bullied you, they’ve demeaned us, they’ve demonized us and censored us… and weaponized the power of our own government against us.”

Vice President Kamala Harris

Harris on Wednesday responded to Biden’s remark, defending the president and saying he “clarified his comments.”

“I think that, first of all, he clarified his comments, but let me be clear, I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for,” Harris said.

Harris, referring to her Tuesday night speech from the Ellipse near the White House, reiterated on Wednesday how voters will decide “who we are as a nation and whether we are going to be a nation of people who attempt to unify and breakthrough this era of divisiveness, or are we going to be a nation of people who have a president stewing in the Oval Office over his enemies list?”

“You heard my speech last night and continuously throughout my career,” Harris said. “I believe that the work that I do is about representing all the people, whether they support me or not, and as president of the United States, I will be a president for all Americans whether you vote for me or not.”

Harris told reporters she spoke with Biden Tuesday night but his “garbage” comment did not come up during their conversation.

“He did call me last night, but this didn’t come up,” Harris said.

Meanwhile, in North Carolina, Trump pitched voters, vowing to “end inflation. I will stop the massive invasion of criminals into our country. And I will bring back a thing called the American Dream.”

“Our country will be bigger, better, bolder, richer, safer and stronger than ever before,” he said. “And this election is a choice between whether we will have four more years of gross incompetence and failure, or whether we’ll begin the greatest four years of the history of our country.”

White House denies that Biden referred to Trump supporters as ‘garbage’

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre denied that President Biden was referring to Trump supporters when he said Tuesday, “The only garbage I see out there is his supporters.”

“Just to clarify, he was not calling Trump supporters garbage,” Jean-Pierre told reporters at the daily White House press briefing on Wednesday, reiterating that Biden put out a statement to clarify his remarks.

“He does not view Trump supporters or anybody who supports Trump as garbage,” she said, adding that Biden has said numerous times that he is a “president for all,” including those who did not vote for him.

During a Zoom call on Tuesday, Biden was asked about a comment made Sunday during a Trump rally at Madison Square Garden in which comedian Tony Hinchcliffe called Puerto Rico a “floating island of garbage.”

Outrage spewed from Democrats over the next two days saying Trump’s campaign should not refer to Puerto Rico like that.

Then, as Harris was holding her last major campaign event — and not far from the White House — Biden was asked what he thought of Hinchcliffe’s comedy bit at the Trump rally in New York.

“The only garbage I see floating out there is his supporters,” Biden said. “[Trump’s] demonization of Latinos is unconscionable, and it is un-American.”

Biden tweeted later that evening, “Earlier today I referred to the hateful rhetoric about Puerto Rico spewed by Trump’s supporters at his Madison Square Garden rally as garbage—which is the only word I can think of to describe it. His demonization of Latinos is unconscionable. That’s all I meant to say. The comments at that rally don’t reflect who we are as a nation.”

Harris responded to the controversy earlier Wednesday, observing that Biden had “clarified his comments.”

“I strongly disagree with any criticism of people based on who they vote for,” Harris said. “You heard me last night and continuously throughout my career. I believe that the work that I do is about representing all the people, whether they support me or not.”

Harris added that Biden had called her Tuesday night after the event, but she said they did not discuss his “garbage” comment.

This is a developing story and will be updated. Fox News Digital’s Scott McDonald and Anders Hagstrom contributed to this report.

‘That’s a lie’: Georgia’s top elections official blasts Harris for attacking state voter law

Georgia’s top elections official is accusing Vice President Kamala Harris of lying about the state’s voter security laws.

“We have worked tirelessly to prepare for this election by adding early voting days and investing in infrastructure, creating more security and more voter convenience…only to be rewarded with the lies about ‘Jim Crow 2.0,’” Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger said during a press conference on Wednesday.

Without naming Harris, the Republican state official took aim at her comments during a campaign speech in Michigan earlier this week.

“Frustratingly, recently, a candidate repeated that lie that we will lock up people that give water to voters waiting in line to vote,” Raffensperger said. “That’s a lie, because we don’t have any lines in Georgia. It’s just cheap politics.”

Harris said in Ann Arbor on Monday night, “I was just in Georgia. You know they passed a law that makes it illegal to give people food and water for standing in line to vote?”

“The hypocrisy abounds. Whatever happened to ‘love thy neighbor,’ right?” she added as the supportive crowd jeered.

Fox News Digital reached out to the Harris campaign for a response to Raffensperger.

The remark also got pushback from Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp, who mocked Harris’ short-lived 2020 presidential bid.

“Sounds like Kamala Harris just can’t handle the truth,” Kemp wrote on X on Tuesday. “We made it easier to vote and harder to cheat in Georgia. As a result, more than 3 million Georgians have already voted — that’s 3 million more votes than the Vice President got in the 2024 primaries.”

Georgia officials moved to implement several new voting laws after the 2020 race put the Peach State under a microscope.

Among them was limiting the number of ballot drop boxes – which were not used in Georgia before 2020 – and restricting political groups from giving food and water to voters waiting in line on Election Day within a certain distance from their polling place.

Georgia also installed new ID requirements for absentee ballots.

Democratic organizations and civil rights groups accused Republican officials of restricting voter access with the measures.

But Raffensperger and other Republicans have pushed back on those attacks, particularly in the wake of record-setting voter turnout in Georgia since early voting got underway on Oct. 15.

As of Wednesday afternoon, more than 45% of active Georgia voters have cast pre-Election Day ballots.

Meanwhile, Raffensperger cautioned both candidates to accept a loss “gracefully,” comparing it to his grandson losing his recent baseball playoff game.

“As soon as they came up short, and they lost, I know that they were disappointed. But what they did, because both teams were good sportsmen, they lined up, and they did that passing of shaking each other’s hand and said, ‘Congratulations, good game,’” he said.

“As a grandparent, I’m proud to see that. But just as an American, I think that’s wonderful, because I think that’s what America is – is gracefully accepting your wins, but also gracefully accepting your losses.”

He vowed, “I will hold both parties accountable to you, the voters of Georgia.”
